- Poster presentations will be made available in digital format for display at the Congress venue, subject to approval by the Scientific Committee. Please note that paper posters will not be accepted.
PREPARATION AND FORMATTING OF THE ABSTRACT
It is of the utmost importance that all presenters adhere to the instructions delineated in this section. Failure to comply with the established standards for writing and submission may result in the return of the material to the authors for redrafting or its definitive rejection at the discretion of the Scientific Committee.
When entering data in the online form, the following guidelines should be followed:
- Title. The title should be written in capital letters without a period at the end.
- Authors. The name and surname of all authors and co-authors must be included, starting with the author presenting the paper. The full names of all participants in the preparation of the paper must be given so that they can be included in the final program, index of authors and issuance of certificates. In no case is it allowed to mention the authors or the center of origin in the title or text of the paper. Papers that mention the authors or the center of origin outside the allowed fields will not be accepted by Scientific Committee.
- E-mail (contact person). Please provide the e-mail address of the individual responsible for communicating with the editorial team. This individual is also responsible for obtaining permission from any other authors or entities cited in the submitted work. Fields marked with an asterisk are mandatory. The e-mail address provided will be used to send notifications about the acceptance of the submitted work. It is important to ensure that the address is correct and that it is used consistently.
- Work center. It is essential that the service and work center of each author be made available.
- A maximum of four authors are permitted, except in the case of multicenter studies, where a maximum of six authors may be included.
- The following outline should be used as a framework for structuring abstracts:
- 1. Introduction.
- 2. Development or Material and Method (select one of the two, according to the subject matter).
- 3. Results and Conclusions
- 4. Keywords. From three to five.
- 5. Bibliography. It is recommended to use three to five citations following the Vancouver model, the PubMed citation model, or the SEME journal citation model.
- Maximum length of abstract: 275 words.
- Tables, graphs and images are not allowed in the abstract.
- In the online form, the primary author is required to indicate the type of presentation desired: oral or poster. The Scientific Committee will endeavor to accommodate the author's presentation preferences. However, if the number of oral presentations exceeds the available capacity, the Committee may elect to admit them as posters, notifying the authors in advance.
- At the conclusion of the process, an automatic confirmation will be transmitted to the designated contact author via email. This confirmation will include a password, which will enable the author to regain access to the system if any modifications are required. Should a correction be required to an already submitted paper, including the title, text, or details of the co-authors, the main author will be able to access the system with the password provided and implement the necessary changes. This option will remain available until November 25, 2024, the deadline for submission of papers.
